The Tougher Than Cancer Initiative envisions a world free of prostate, breast and cervical cancer.

The aim of the Tougher Than Cancer initiative is to advance Sustainable Development Goal 3 : Health and Wellbeing by empowering young people to raise awareness about cancer prevention and healthy living while dispelling myths and misconceptions about the disease.

JCI (Junior Chamber International) will also advocate for equity for all in cancer services. Together, we will mobilize young people to share their stories, raise awareness about cancer and advocate for equity in cancer control services to policymakers and government officials.

By raising awareness about cancer prevention this year, we will bring it to the attention of stakeholders who can make policy changes towards a world where access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equal for all.

This year, we will spend time engaging with our communities to help raise awareness about how to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, the importance of early detection of cancer, and prevention strategies and practices.
